Job Summary
We are seeking a cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cooking breakfast and lunch for toddler, preschool and prek kids in a childcare setting. This role involves being able to properly prepare meals using a daily menu, maintain cleanliness of kitchen, knowledgeable of health Department requirements for compliance, and maintain/knowledge of inventory. Candidate must be clean, neat appearance, dependable and timely, able to disinfect and sanitize and have a pleasant personality.
Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to healthy meal preparation.
- Communicate effectively with staff, health Department and state workers.
- Meal preparation and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed.
- Able to multitask and critical thinking
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or similar environment where meals are prepared. Preferred qualifications include:
