Job Summary:
The Custodial Maintenance & Cleaning Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of facilities. This role involves supervising custodial staff, coordinating cleaning schedules, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met, and maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodians, janitors, and cleaning crews.
- Develop and manage cleaning schedules and maintenance routines for all facility areas.
- Inspect buildings and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Train new custodial staff in safety procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment use.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.
- Report and follow up on facility repairs, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in the hiring and performance evaluation of custodial personnel.
- Coordinate with other departments for special event setups or facility usage.
- Maintain records of work orders, cleaning logs, safety inspections, and staff schedules.
