About Us
Reetz Construction LLC is a small but growing residential construction company serving the Twin Cities metro area. We specialize in custom decks, basement finishing, framing, additions, exterior remodeling, and other residential construction projects. Our goal is to build a company known for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who wants to help build something long term. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your experience, work ethic, and ideas will have a direct impact on the company's success.
Responsibilities
Lead residential construction projects from start to finish.
Manage and work alongside crew members on job sites.
Build custom wood and composite decks.
Perform structural framing, remodeling, and finish carpentry.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Coordinate materials and keep projects running efficiently.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and subcontractors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Train and mentor less experienced employees.
Ensure projects are completed to a high standard of quality.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of residential carpentry experience.
Strong experience with deck construction, framing, and remodeling.
Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
Leadership experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Preferred Experience
TimberTech, Trex, Deckorators, or other composite decking systems.
Structural framing.
Basement finishing.
Exterior remodeling.
Siding, trim, and railing installation.

Pay
$25.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience.
