InGenesis is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Department of Medicine to join our team supporting Brooke Army Medical Center. The LVN will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care within their scope of practice and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting military service members and their families.

Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing–approved LPN/LVN training program or completion of equivalent military training that permits licensure.
License: Current, active, unrestricted LVN license from any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross approved.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association or Red Cross approved
Experience: LVN shall have at least one (1) year full‐time experience within the past three (3) years to the area assigned or two (2) years full‐time Medical /Surgical Nursing experience within the last four (4) years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and IV insertion (as trained).
- Assist with examinations, treatments, admissions, and discharges.
- Develop and implement basic nursing care plans and provide patient and family education.
- Communicate patient status and critical information to the healthcare team; verify physician orders.
- Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and unlicensed personnel.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, care coordination, and quality improvement activities.
