PEDIATRIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT/LPN

Job Summary
We are seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant, LPN, or equivalent to join our friendly and dedicated team. This role provides both clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient pediatric practice. The ideal candidate is caring, organized, and enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced but supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for exams (vitals, height, weight, and medical history)
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Administer vaccines and medications as directed
- Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
- Conduct telephone triage and communicate test results and follow-up instructions to families under the direction of the physicians
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment
- Support front-office functions, including scheduling and insurance verification
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic atmosphere
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Phlebotomy skills a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule
- Part to Full-time, exact schedule to be determined; flexibility for some evening and weekend availability is preferred
