Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or remodeling projects
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or faulty connections; perform necessary repairs promptly
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project timelines and specifications
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in remodeling projects by performing carpentry tasks or handyman duties as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and assembly techniques
- Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics interpretation, and HVAC components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and site protocols
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment
- Experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks is a plus
