Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Administration of prescribed medication, internal feeding, and other treatments and therapies
- Patient care in a home environment including activities of daily living
- Execution of physicians prescribed plan of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
- Documenting shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress notes related to patient assessments and coordination of care
- Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Certified Nursing Assistants so that a continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Florida License
Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse with 5+ years of experience
Available Shifts:
- 12 hour OVERNIGHT shifts, 7pm-7:30am
- Full-time and Part-time options available
- Must be able to work some holidays.
Other Requirements:
- Background Screening
- Valid ID
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, associates, community, and state officials.
- Must be comfortable with computer use and have a working knowledge of appropriate Microsoft Office programs. Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
