American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification, with exposure to advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, ECMO, and Structural Heart.

Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Performs advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart

Uses Philips imaging equipment with Siemens imaging equipment being added

Documentation in Epic; hemodynamic system is Xper

Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hrs/week)

13-week contract

Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required

ARRT certification required

Minimum of 2 recent years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required

Stepdown/PCU experience required

Travel experience at Level 1 required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Provides nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in the Cath Lab environment

Responsibilities include monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures

Coordinates patient care and communicates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the care episode

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension) before being eligible to return
