Position Summary
If your idea of a good time involves Revit families, clash detection, and a beautifully structured model that actually aligns with the MEP layout with zero clashes detected, welcome home!
At EDiS, our AMP (Advanced Modeling Precision) team blends construction tech with practical, on-site expertise to make buildings smarter, faster, and more coordinated from day one. We’re filling a BIM Technician II job with someone who knows their way around Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Fabrication – and who understands that modeling isn’t just a digital exercise, it’s construction in 4D.
This is a role for the detail-obsessed, the software-fluent, the “wait-let’s-clash-this-first” kind of teammate. You’ll collaborate with project teams, convert 2D to 3D LOD models, support constructability reviews, and bring technical modeling skills to real-world coordination. If that sounds like your kind of workflow, keep reading!
Your priorities will be:
- Model Like You Mean It: Create high-quality architectural, structural, and MEP models from 2D drawings, using our VDC tech stack to achieve accuracy, constructability, and consistency.
- Clash Commander: Run clash reports in Navisworks and Revizto, identify conflicts early, and support the team in resolving them before they hit the field.
- Support the Field: Provide accurate shop drawings and point cloud coordination to ensure our boots-on-the-ground teams have the information they need to build it right the first time.
- Quality Obsessed: Follow the AMP team’s QA/QC process so that models meet our standards before they ever hit a coordination meeting or go to the client.
- Stay Curious: Embrace new tech and tools. Help refine workflows and contribute to the evolution of how we deliver modeling and VDC support.
