Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team. This role involves providing one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes and serving as a trusted resource for families and caregivers. This is a part time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home pediatric assessments and create personalized care plans
- Administer medications, feeds (G-tube/NG), respiratory support (e.g., trach/vent), and other skilled nursing procedures
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and development
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Educate families on care techniques, safety, and disease management
- Complete all documentation according to agency standards using our electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience (home health, hospital, or clinic)
- Experience with trach/vent, G-tube, or medically fragile children
- Current CPR certification (PALS preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- A passion for caring for children in a home setting
