Job Summary
Gorilla Marketing is hiring reliable, hardworking, and energetic team members to support event setup, brand activations, and street team marketing efforts throughout the San Diego area.
This is a hands-on, physical role combined with promotional responsibilities. Ideal candidates are comfortable with physical work, enjoy engaging with the public, and thrive in fast-paced event environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown (tents, canopies, tables, chairs, signage, activation stations)
- Load and unload equipment and materials from vehicles
- Set up event layouts according to instructions and timelines
- Support brand activations and live events, including local sporting events and community activations
- Participate in weekly street team efforts, including flagging cars and driving attention near office locations
- Engage with attendees, distribute promotional materials, and create a positive brand experience
- Assist with soft openings and on-site promotions
- Maintain organization of marketing materials and event supplies
- Support teardown and site cleanup after events
- Take initiative and assist wherever needed to meet event deadlines
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and assist with event setup tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Able to follow directions and work effectively within a team
- Punctual, dependable, and professional
- High-energy, proactive, and willing to take initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event setup, promotions, street teams, or brand activations
- Background in sports, live events, or customer engagement
Schedule
- Flexible, event-based scheduling
- Weekly street team shifts
- Evening and weekend availability required
