Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, certified, and flexible Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing pain management practice as a Float Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in different locations and can provide coverage when needed.
Coverage is typically needed 2–3 days per week depending availability, across our multiple office locations.
Office Locations
- Bronx, NY (Soundview & Norwood)
- Brooklyn, NY (Redhook & Williamsburg)
- Astoria, NY (Queens)
- Inwood, NY
- Monroe/Kirjas Joel, NY
- Monsey, NY
Preference will be given to candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance to our primary service areas, especially Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, and Red Hook.
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits.
- Obtain and document vital signs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Follow all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
- Travel to different office locations as coverage is needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
- Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
Schedule
- Coverage position.
- Approximately 2–3 shifts per week.
- Flexible schedule based on office needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
