Job Description:
The Traveling Site Superintendent will oversee all on-site aspects of commercial construction projects lasting between 8 and 30 weeks. This is a full-time position that requires consistent travel throughout the U.S.All travel expenses are covered, and a weekly per diem is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Supervise subcontractors, track schedules, and ensure project milestones are met
- Managing construction projects in the $2M-$5M range
- Enforce safety standards and perform quality control inspections
- Communicate daily with Project Managers, clients, and vendors
- Ensure timely project delivery within budget and company standards
- Utilize project management tools and software to maintain documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of new construction and/or ground-up construction experience (Required)
- Traveling experience required
- Prior experience managing construction projects in the $2M-$5M range
- Procore software experience preferred
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile communication tools
- Must have own laptop and updated smartphone
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Strong professional references required
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Pay: $80,000–$120,000
Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
- Per Diem: $35/day for all 7 days during overnight travel
- Lodging & Transportation: Provided for all travel assignments
- Transportation Reimbursement: Covered for work-related travel
- Vehicle Allowance: Offered when using personal vehicle for travel
- Cell Phone Reimbursement: $130/month
