Backup Care Nanny Opportunities
Our backup care team provides professional childcare to families who need temporary, on-call, or short-term support.
Pay & Employment
- $22/hour
- Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
- Overtime pay and daily bonuses may be available
- W-2 employee status
- Flexible scheduling
Submit your availability weekly through our scheduling app. This is a great option for experienced caregivers who want flexibility while still being part of a professional agency.
Looking for Something Long-Term?
Crunch Care also places professional nannies with families seeking consistent part-time and full-time care.
If you're looking for a more permanent position, we'll explain our long-term placement process, current opportunities, and how you can be considered for upcoming family searches.
What We're Looking For
- 18+ years old
- 2+ years of professional childcare experience
- Experience with infants through school-age children
- 3–4 professional childcare references
- CPR certification
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and adaptable
- At least 2 full days of availability per week for backup care roles
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, except where not required in NYC or San Francisco
