Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped for tanker hauling, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Load, secure, and unload aviation fuel using specialized equipment and procedures to prevent spills or accidents
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and tanks to verify safety and readiness
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries, adjusting plans as needed based on traffic or operational requirements
- Maintain accurate logs of fuel deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling hazardous materials, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tanker hauling and hazardous materials (HazMat) certification
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tanks.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and truck driving best practices
- Experience in load & unload operations, route driving, and handling freight securely
- Ability to operate forklifts or roll-off trucks as needed for loading or unloading cargo
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting flammable liquids such as aviation fuel
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation compliance

Pay: $46,833.15 - $76,401.21 per year
