Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity.
- Apply hair color using various techniques such as balayage, highlights, lowlights, and full-color treatments while adhering to color theory principles.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly to ensure a safe environment.
- Utilize salon software such as Vagaro or Gloss Genius for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering expert advice, and upselling retail products like hair care and nail care items.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and supporting store management tasks when needed. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with industry trends and techniques.Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with a strong foundation in hair styling and coloring techniques.
- Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a hygienic workspace at all times.
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members.
- Perform intricate hair coloring methods based on color theory principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Pay: $24.73 - $29.79 per hour
