We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Aide to join our early childhood education team! Duties
- Assist lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development and learning
- Ensure the safety and well-being of infants by supervising their daily routines and providing attentive child supervision
- Support diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily care routines with patience and compassion
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Follow all mandated reporting laws and health & safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures
- Collaborate with team members to manage classroom behavior and support positive social interactions among children
- Complete a minimum of 20 hours of Professional Development annually
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or nanny position is highly preferred
- Infant/Toddler certification preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork
- Ability to manage classroom activities effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment
- Flexible mindset - ability to substitute in classrooms ages infant to 3rd grade.
- Ability to keep a clean work environment
- Knowledge of licensing regulations preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
