- We are actively seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to be a vital part of our team.
- Work encompasses various commercial settings in the New Orleans and surrounding areas.
- Note: We Reimburse for Parking.
Local Commercial Electrician long time work in New Orleans, Metairie, and Northshore. Overtime is now available.
Responsibilities:
- Bend and run conduit pipe: Ensure accurate conduit placement and alignment in compliance with project and electrical codes.
- Terminate runs: Connect electrical cables, wires, and components securely.
- Install receptacles: Set up electrical receptacles, outlets, and switches as per project and electrical standards.
- Pull wire: Safely and systematically route electrical wires.
- Read blueprints: Understand and apply electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work with MC cables: Handle and install Metal-Clad (MC) cables with safety and precision.
- Utilize hand and power tools: Efficiently use tools essential for electrical tasks.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience as a Commercial Electrician.
- Proficiency in bending and running conduit pipes.
- Experience in terminating runs and installing receptacles.
- Skilled in pulling and organizing wires.
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints.
- Familiarity with MC cables.
- Ownership of a reliable toolset.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Detail-oriented with precision in work.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to work in diverse settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
