Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, lead generation, and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.
- Manage existing accounts through effective account management techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Present comprehensive product demos and technical solutions to clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on territory-specific campaigns to maximize outreach and brand awareness.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks to ensure seamless territory management.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or B2B (business-to-business) sales environments, preferably within the construction or home improvement sectors.
- Strong management skills with experience in business development and account management.
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Experience in technical sales or product demonstrations that require explaining complex solutions clearly.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategies for upselling or expanding existing accounts.
