Responsibilities
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and assisting with food delivery to ensure timely service.
- Handle food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting for new guests.
- Assist with food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure guest safety.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and address any special guest requests promptly.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic culinary skills is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a positive attitude and teamwork mindset are key.
