BEPC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join a leading manufacturing team in Saint Paul, MN. This role is responsible for supporting production by accurately pulling materials, stocking inventory, delivering supplies to production areas, and staging finished products for distribution. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, verify, and deliver materials and supplies according to production orders.
- Count materials accurately for kitting and production requirements.
- Stock inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of stock locations throughout both the first and second-floor warehouse areas.
- Operate pallet jacks to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
- Stage finished products for shipping and final distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and material transactions.
- Keep inventory, warehouse areas, and equipment clean, organized, and production-ready.
- Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and quality personnel.
- Maintain accurate written documentation with clear and legible handwriting.
- Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience using pallet jacks.
- Basic inventory, stocking, and material handling knowledge.
- Strong counting and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and established processes.
- Clear written communication and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FIFO inventory practices.
- Kitting and inventory control experience.
- Material staging and production support experience.
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated manufacturing is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift and move production materials.
- Frequent material handling and movement throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
