Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote positive behavior, and build strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative activity plans aligned with early childhood education standards, utilizing creative curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships.
- Implement child development instruction tailored to individual needs,
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong background in early childhood education is a plus but not required.
- CDA, Associates, Bachelors
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child welfare practices is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Certification in first aid and CPR required, we will certify you
- Experience teaching or tutoring young children is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan lessons that meet diverse learning needs while fostering a joyful learning environment.
