Bates Troy, Inc. is a Binghamton, NY based Healthcare Linen service, Quality Dry Cleaning & Tailoring, and Fire & Water Restoration company. Dating back to the late 1800’s, Bates Troy remains family owned and operated.
Bates Troy, Healthcare Linen Services mission is to provide clean linen to over 6,000 patient beds per day while making our healthcare customers’ patients comfortable and free from hospital acquired pathogens. In conjunction to this, Bates Troy aims to increase our healthcare partner’s linen utilization and decrease costs all while providing excellent service.
We are seeking a FULL-TIME employee to performs outstanding customer service in our dry cleaning stores at 3100 Vestal Pkwy E, Vestal, NY 13850.
Position is Full Time:
- 30+ hours weekly (hours will vary)
Pay Rate:
Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 12:00pm - 6:00pm, plus every other Saturday 9:00am - 1:00p
Duties:
- Conduct transactions with dry cleaning store customers
- Tag and track customer orders
- Customer care
- Operating the computer/cash register
- Answer the phone professionally
- Excellent customer service
- Multi tasking
- Dress code for customer service
- Other duties as assigned by management
Working Conditions
Daily: Standing, Reaching, Handling. Walking, Talking, Listening
Occasionally: Sitting
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.
Skill(s): Customer service, visual and auditory skills; computer skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work in fast paced environment, ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
Experience: Retail Experience preferred.
Must have reliable transportation
