University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide high-quality, personalized care to our clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Aid, you will assist clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers and positioning.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary plans and client preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status or behavior to supervisors and healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy and patience.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Westland, MI.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Competitive hourly pay of $14.00 - $19.00, paid twice a month.
