CF Designs is a high-end coastal interior design firm specializing in luxury custom homes, renovations, and vacation rentals throughout Corpus Christi, North Padre Island, and Port Aransas. We're looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated team member who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Position: Interior Design Assistant & Field Coordinator
Starting Pay: $18-25/hour (opportunity for growth based on experience and performance)
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse organization, field support, administrative assistance, and interior design operations.
Warehouse & Inventory
- Receive, inspect, photograph, and organize incoming furniture, décor, and materials
- Check deliveries for damage or shortages
- Label and organize inventory
- Prepare furniture and accessories for installation days
- Maintain an organized warehouse and sample library
Field Runner
- Pick up and return design samples
- Shop for project materials and installation supplies
- Visit job sites to take photos, measurements, and document progress
- Deliver materials to clients, contractors, and vendors
- Coordinate local pickups, deliveries, and errands
Installation Support
- Assist during furniture installations and styling days
- Unbox merchandise and prepare accessories
- Make beds, style shelves, hang artwork, and help create beautifully finished spaces
- Maintain installation checklists and inventory
- Assist with post-install cleanup and organization
Administrative Support
- Assist multiple team members with daily operations
- Create and edit documents using Canva
- Maintain spreadsheets and project information
- Organize digital files and project photos
- Help coordinate schedules, deliveries, and appointments
Client Care
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and trades
- Assist with follow-up communications and scheduling
- Help prepare client presentations and project materials
- Ensure a positive client experience throughout each project
Materials & Shopping
- Organize fabric, wallpaper, tile, and finish samples
- Keep the design library current and organized
- Source local materials and accessories
- Complete store returns and product exchanges
- Shop for décor, styling pieces, and project supplies
Qualifications
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Canva and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets preferred
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- This is an in person position and will need to report daily to the office on North Padre island. Our typical work day is 8am to 4pm
- Ability to lift and move furniture samples and packages
- Interest in interior design, home furnishings, or construction is a plus
