Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and mentor our in-home sales team and oversee the call center team, ensuring a seamless and productive process from lead generation to sale. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on developing people, strengthening processes, and driving growth.
The right candidate will be open-minded, eager to learn and grow with the team, and ready to embrace new ideas to continuously improve systems and results. You’ll work closely with sales representatives through ride-alongs, call reviews, and one-on-one mentoring while providing direction and accountability for the call center team.
Additionally, you will manage a Re-Hash Program, ensuring timely follow-up on lost sales to recover missed opportunities and increase overall conversion rates.
This role is part of the company’s leadership team, participating in weekly meetings to present sales metrics, identify opportunities, and help shape company growth strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Team Leadership & Coaching
- Mentor and develop sales reps to improve closing rates, presentation skills, and customer interactions.
- Ride along with reps during in-home appointments to observe and provide constructive coaching.
- Review audio recordings of appointments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Hold regular one-on-one sessions to set goals, celebrate achievements, and encourage continuous growth.
Sales Process Development
- Strategically assign appointments to maximize team efficiency and sales success.
- Refine and optimize the selling system while encouraging collaboration and feedback from the team.
- Promote consistent use of systems and tools to create scalable, repeatable processes.
Call Center Management
- Lead the call center team to ensure high-quality lead handling and appointment setting.
- Review incoming calls and provide coaching and feedback during regular team meetings.
- Collaborate with call center reps to confirm project scopes and ensure proper qualification of leads.
- Align call center operations with the sales team to create a seamless customer experience.
Re-Hash Program Management
- Oversee a structured Re-Hash Program to follow up on lost sales.
- Identify missed opportunities and work with both the sales team and call center to recover business.
- Monitor results and continuously improve the process to maximize conversion rates.
Leadership Team Collaboration
- Participate in weekly Leadership meetings, presenting sales metrics and updates.
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop strategies and align on company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in in-home sales, preferably in remodeling, home improvement, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and developing both sales and customer service teams.
- Adaptable Mindset: Open to learning, feedback, and evolving processes to stay competitive.
- Sales System Knowledge: Experience with structured selling systems and the ability to fine-tune them.
- Strong Communication: Exceptional listening and communication skills to inspire confidence and growth.
- Customer Focus: Passion for creating an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.
