Bartender (Part-Time)
Reports to Venue Rentals Manager
- Set up and take down bar service for performances, rentals, and special events.
- Serve beer, wine, mixed drinks, and other beverages to patrons with excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations related to alcohol sales.
- Track and manage bar inventory, including rotating stock and notifying the Lead Bartender when supplies are low.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar environment at all times.
- Provide professional, courteous service and resolve patron questions or concerns.
- Other bar-related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to attain a licensed bartender in the City of Brookfield.
- 1–3 years’ bartending experience in events, rentals, or performance settings.
- Basic mixology knowledge required.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude in varied patron situations.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional team meetings.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with iOS and POS systems.
- Must maintain confidentiality and act with tact and diplomacy.
- Physical requirements: lift/carry up to 40 lbs; bend and twist body repeatedly.
- Must pass a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Compensation & Scheduling:
- Part-time/hourly: $18 per hour plus tips from events worked.
- Flexible scheduling – bartenders may select which events they wish to work.
