Job Description: Lead Remodeling Specialist
We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Lead Remodeling Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a "Swiss Army Knife" of construction—someone who has mastered the core trades and is ready to take a leadership role on-site. You will be responsible for executing residential and commercial renovations from demolition to the final coat of paint, while ensuring projects stay on schedule and up to our standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drywall & Finishes: Perform expert-level drywall hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Painting: Deliver high-quality interior/exterior painting with professional attention to prep and detail.
- Carpentry: Handle both rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim, baseboards, and cabinetry installation.
- Flooring: Install various flooring types, including LVP, hardwood, and tile.
- Electrical/plumbing: basic knowledge
- Project Leadership: Supervise small crews or subcontractors, manage material orders, and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve structural or aesthetic issues as they arise behind the walls.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in residential/commercial remodeling
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of power tools, including table saws, miter saws, and concrete/tile saws - need to have own basic tools
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a job site, troubleshoot on the fly, and mentor junior laborers.
- Logistics: Reliable transportation (capable of hauling tools/materials) and a valid driver's license - truck preferred
- Physical Ability: Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in various environments, and maintain a clean, safe job site.
- Background check: able to pass a background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
