This position is part of a Service Charge pay model and is compensated primarily through commission based earnings from service charges on guest checks shared among front of house team members. This position may also receive tips from customers. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders; provide knowledgeable information about products and featured items.
2. Follow all recipes and product specifications for consistent beverage preparation and presentation.
3. Collect payments and operate the point of sale system in accordance with all cash handling policies and procedures.
4. Secure all monies and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
5. Follow all alcohol awareness procedures to prevent over service and appropriately manage guests who appear intoxicated.
6. Adhere to all Parker Hospitality processes for customer service, adult beverage service, and cash handling.
7. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well stocked bar at all times.
8. Adhere to all company health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
9. Complete all assigned side work thoroughly and to standard.
10. Assist with the training and development of new bar team members as needed.
11. Accept direction and constructive feedback from management.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout every shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must meet the state minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of one year of bartending experience; high volume or fast casual dining experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation.
- Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic personality with the ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers.
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

- Pass a drug and alcohol test within the first 90 days of employment, where required.
- Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of a shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts including weekends.
- Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
