Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in pipeline projects and the ability to interpret schematics. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Coordinate and manage construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Utilize project management software such as Primavera and Prolog to track progress and maintain documentation.
- Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide guidance and support to construction crews, fostering a productive work environment.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera and Prolog is preferred.
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, particularly OSHA standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
