Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed
- Handle cash drawer management, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling daily sales
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and participating in stock replenishment efforts
Experience
- Prior cashier experience in a retail setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising principles, and sales techniques
