Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage or refrigerant lines.
- Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders, and document system performance for ongoing property maintenance.
- Operate a fleet vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- EPA Certification
- (2) years proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with hands-on field service expertise.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems.
- Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design specifications thoroughly.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler maintenance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, welding techniques, and property maintenance practices.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating and maintaining fleet vehicles.
- Additional certifications in HVAC or related fields are a plus; ongoing training encouraged to stay current with industry standards.

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
