We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help design and guide modern API, integration and cloud-based solutions across a growing technology environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, creating scalable architecture patterns, and partnering with engineering teams to build secure, reusable, and reliable systems. The right person will have a strong background in API design, microservices, cloud platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
Salary range: $150-$160k

Key Responsibilities
- Design and guide API, integration, and cloud architecture solutions
- Create reusable architecture patterns, standards, and best practices
- Partner with engineering, product, platform, and architecture teams
- Design scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Support event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
- Improve API consistency, security, documentation, testing, and reuse
- Provide guidance around API lifecycle management and developer enablement
- Support cloud architecture and deployment practices, especially within AWS
- Guide teams on OpenAPI specifications, contract-first design, and API validation
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Mentor engineering teams on modern architecture and integration practices
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development, solutions architecture, integration architecture, or related technology roles
- Strong experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and enterprise application architecture
- Experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, or streaming platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar
- Strong understanding of API security concepts, including OAuth, JWT, OIDC, and SAML
- Experience with OpenAPI specifications, API testing, validation, and documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API management platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or similar
- Experience with API catalogs, developer portals, or self-service API platforms
- Experience with Kafka, AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, service mesh, or cloud-native architecture
- Experience defining architecture standards, integration frameworks, or technology roadmaps
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments
