Selection Center Coordinator

In this role, you'll guide homeowners, builders, designers, and trade partners through the product selection process, provide expert recommendations, coordinate showroom appointments, and help create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

THE DETAILS
Position Summary
The Selection Center Coordinator is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience by guiding homeowners and trade partners through the product selection process, manage showroom appointments, provides product expertise, and supports project coordination. The position also contributes to estimating, administrative support, and showroom operations.
The Selection Center Coordinator operates independently as the primary on-site representative, requiring strong decision-making, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, including countertops and related materials.
- Educate homeowners and trade partners on product options, uses, and applications.
- Identify and recommend material and color alternatives when needed.
· Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.
· Schedule, coordinate, and conduct showroom appointments, including walk-in customers.
· Host showroom events to promote products and strengthen customer relationships
- Complete all paperwork related to appointments and selections.
- Prepare residential estimates as time allows.
- Ensure product samples are current, stocked, organized, and properly displayed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on company initiatives and daily operations.
- Support co-workers, vendors, and partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and occasional industry events.
· Perform administrative functions to support daily operations, project tracking, or other departmental needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in or working knowledge of the countertop, kitchen design, or cabinet industry, with the ability to apply that knowledge independently in day-to-day operations.
· This role frequently operates as the sole on-site team member and requires strong independence, accountability, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to handle all customer interactions and inquiries without on-site support.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong accountability
- Ability to accurately interpret drawings, layouts, and project plans.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and keep projects on track.
- Solid basic math and computer skills, including the ability to complete estimates, track orders, and manage documentation with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to lift and carry product samples up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move around the showroom for extended periods.
- Primarily indoor showroom and office setting.
Schedule
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tuesday/Thursday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Overtime required as needed.
