Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Program Director to lead and oversee impactful community programs that promote health, wellness, and social engagement. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate community programs focused on public health, addiction counseling, youth engagement, and social services
- Lead and supervise staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure effective program delivery and team cohesion
- Cultivate relationships with community partners, local organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to enhance program reach and impact
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely achievement of program goals
- Develop marketing strategies utilizing social media platforms and community outreach events to increase awareness and participation
- Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes to inform continuous improvement efforts
- Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, community meetings, and conferences to promote initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams, and community outreach activities
- Strong background in program development, project management, social work or public health fields
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences through public speaking and written reports
- Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles, social media management tools, and data collection techniques
- Ability to lead grassroots organizing efforts and foster collaboration with community partners
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable; experience teaching youth programs is a plus
- Valid CPR certification; experience in public health or social work preferred
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as recruiting, fundraising, and client communication
- Technical proficiency with computers, social media platforms, data management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
