We have a HUGE increase in traffic in our service department so we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor. Our service department has never been busier!
Our Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for the handling of sales and satisfaction levels to all customers of the service department.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
* Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
* Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
* Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
* Increase profitability by maximizing sales & execute retail promotions.
* Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers’ vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
* Oversee and participate in quality control.
* Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone and in writing as well as strong interpersonal and customer services skills
* Ability to meet deadlines, organized, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment required.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen
* 2+ years’ experience in similar positions
* Must speak fluent English, Spanish is a plus
* Valid IL driver’s license with clean record
