Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering guest relations.
- Support the team during busy nights in nightclub or food service environments, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Collaborate with host/hostess staff to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife exposure.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally.
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables during peak hours seamlessly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.

Pay: $21.75 - $26.20 per hour
