The Corporate Security Manager is a corporate level position primarily responsible for theft prevention, as well as mitigating losses by actively participating in collections and locating equipment for repossession, overseeing a team of internal auditors, and protecting the companies’ physical assets, intellectual property and personnel. The CSM mainly actively assists locations with collections and locating equipment for repossession, will also manage a team, develops security strategies, oversees facility safety, manages threat response, and ensure and oversee compliance with security regulations.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategy & Risk Management: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive corporate security strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks across the enterprise.
- Physical Security Operations: Review and oversee security technology systems and processes, to monitor security at company facilities.
- Team Management: Manage a team of Internal Auditors.
- Incident & Crisis Management: Lead incident response, crisis planning, and disaster recovery efforts, including handling workplace violence issues or site emergencies.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure that security protocols adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Vendor & Law Enforcement Relations: Manage external security contractors and maintain relationships with local and federal law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Helpful to have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, homeland security, information security, or a related field.
- Experience: Required to have 7+ to 10+ years of progressive management experience in corporate security, repossessions/collections, military, law enforcement, or private security.
- Skills: Exceptional executive communication, crisis decision-making, and deep knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:
o Main duties will be handling debt repossessions and collections activities.
o Oversite of regular and systematic audits, site assessments of each assigned location.
o Oversite of auditors and their processes that will include physical inspection of inventories, vehicles, trailers, facilities, and general company assets.
o Management of auditor’s safety training, safety inspections, whole goods discrepancies, parts department safety, and service department safety and OSHA Compliance.
o Corporate Collections and Debt Repossession oversite.
o And other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
o Basic knowledge of accounting principles
o High level of attention to detail and accuracy
o Basic knowledge of computers and ability to utilize MS Office programs
o Good written and verbal communication skills
o Self-disciplined, and the ability to work independently
o Must have a valid Driver’s License
o Salary commensurate with experience
