We are seeking a new full-time Shop Foreman / Maintenance Supervisor addition to our factory team. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager, detail oriented, has a strong work ethic and enjoys working with their hands. Duties are split between office and factory settings. Competitive starting pay and benefits package available. Schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:50 am to 3:30 pm and Friday 6:50 am to 12:00 pm. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident and abide by drug and alcohol-free workplace policy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the factory and coordinate production, maintenance and cleaning/organization activities with production staff. Multi-tasking is required to manage competing priorities and complete tasks with efficiency
- Program CNC Waterjet Machines utilizing CAD software to create project estimates and job travelers for production
- Direct customer interface during project estimating and execution while providing excellent customer service
- Setup and operation of CNC Waterjet Machines, utilizing Windows-based computers
- Forklift operation: loading and unloading materials onto machines, delivery trucks and customer vehicles
- Use of various hand tools, power tools and precision measurement instruments
- In-process and final inspection of products to specification drawing to ensure acceptance
- Occasional welding, deburring, cleaning and packaging of parts
- Must be able to lift up to 65 - 75 pounds comfortably
Experience
- Manufacturing or mechanical technical experience required. Metal fabrication shop supervisor experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Windows-based PC and experience with CAD/CAM programming
- Experience with machine maintenance and repair including use of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail, meticulous in producing quality work and products
- Strong organizational skills in keeping work areas clean and orderly
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- CNC equipment programming and operation experience
- Welding / Fabrication experience
