Overview
Elite Supplemental Benefits is looking to add motivated 1099 Voluntary Benefits Agents who want to build a long-term book of business in the employer benefits space.
This is an independent contractor, commission-based opportunity with no base salary. It is best suited for someone who is self-motivated, professional, ethical, and comfortable networking with business owners, HR contacts, and decision-makers.
Agents will have access to multiple carriers, products, and programs in the voluntary benefits, supplemental benefits, life insurance, vision, dental, legal, and ID protection space. This is not a major medical health insurance role.
The right person will be motivated by unlimited earning potential, long-term residual income opportunities where available, and the ability to build lasting client relationships by doing business the right way: honestly, ethically, and with the client’s best interest first.
Duties
Prospect and develop relationships with business owners, HR professionals, referral partners, and decision-makers
Network through chambers, business groups, community events, referrals, and direct outreach
Present voluntary benefit and supplemental benefit options to employers and employees
Help identify gaps in existing benefit offerings and recommend appropriate solutions
Coordinate with the broker and carrier partners during the enrollment process
Follow up consistently with prospects, clients, and referral sources
Maintain professionalism, accurate communication, and ethical sales practices at all times
Build and manage a long-term book of business

Other voluntary and supplemental benefit solutions
Requirements
Life and Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to become licensed
Prior sales, networking, insurance, business development, or relationship-based experience preferred
Comfortable with a 1099 commission-based opportunity
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Professional, honest, ethical, and coachable
Not afraid to prospect, network, follow up, and work hard
Comfortable speaking with business owners, HR contacts, and employees
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Interested in building long-term residual income opportunities where available
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with no base salary. Compensation is commission-based and may include long-term residual income opportunities depending on the product, carrier, persistency, and account structure.
There is no cap on earning potential, but success depends on consistent effort, follow-up, prospecting, and the ability to generate and maintain business.
Pay: $5,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
