We are currently looking to hire full time Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team! This position offers the opportunity to make a difference every day, excellent hours & a pleasant working environment. This specific teacher would be comfortable working with Toddlers and then also working as a float teacher where needed. In the state of Missouri you are required to 18 years of age or older to work with this age group.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities tailored for toddlers.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Support classroom management by maintaining order and encouraging positive behavior among students.
- Engage with children through play and educational activities to promote early childhood development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Childhood Development Associate degree or Associate's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience as a care giver or teacher preferred
- Positive attitude & love for working with children
- Willingness to work with children 0-12 years of age
- Knowledge of NAEYC Developmentally Appropriate Practices, The Creative Curriculum and/or willingness to learn
- Must be at least 18 years old
