FMC Health and BSA CareXpress are seeking a part-time X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while providing a safe, professional, and compassionate experience for every patient.
X-Ray Technicians play an important role in supporting providers with timely imaging services and ensuring accurate results that help guide diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff to support patient care
- Follow all safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current X-Ray Technician certification or state licensure
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and positioning techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Physical ability to assist and position patients as needed
- Experience with Athena EMR is a plus
