Overview
Kitto Plastic Surgery is looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in plastic surgery, whose expertise will directly enhance patient outcomes and elevate the quality of care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing services to ensure safe and outstanding patient care. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and detailed preoperative counseling
- Administer in office skin treatments such as Microneedling, PRP, chemical peels
- Assist with in office procedures, ensuring sterile environments and proper instrument handling.
- Monitor patient responses during treatments and recovery providing necessary interventions promptly.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care, including wound management, medication instructions, and lifestyle modifications for optimal results.
- Follow patients recovery including dressing changes, suture removal, drain removal
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up appointments for enhanced patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with current state registration.
- Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, with additional expertise in cosmetic or plastic surgery preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced nursing skills such phlebotomy, suture removal, dressing changes and sterile technique.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to aesthetic procedures.
- Critical care experience or ICU background is advantageous for managing complex cases and emergency situations.

Pay: $33.10 - $42.27 per hour
