Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized care to seniors and individuals requiring assistance in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care coordination team to ensure that each client receives the tailored support they need to maintain their dignity and independence. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration needs.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being.
- Collaborate with the care coordination team to ensure personalized care plans are followed effectively.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English.
- Ability to provide compassionate care with patience and respect.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Bonus If You:
- Have additional certifications in caregiving, such as CNA or HHA.
- Are bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
- Possess a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position that may include shifts on Monday through Sunday.
