We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes in the West Branch and surrounding area. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Monitor patients’ health by observing and reporting changes in their condition.
- Support individuals with disabilities, including autism, in daily activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet client needs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, supervisors
