American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, GA on a day shift schedule.

Inpatient rehab unit (6E) in a 354-bed acute care hospital, main building
-
28-bed unit with a typical caseload of 4-6 patients; treats 3-4 patients per day on average, occasionally up to 5

Procedures performed include wound care

Equipment used includes hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system

Documentation via Meditech; experience with the Care Tool is preferred

Schedule is M-F, approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (8-hour shifts, start/end times are flexible), with 2 weekend shifts during the 13-week assignment (integrated into regular staff rotation with 2 other days off that week)

No floating required

Support staff includes 2 therapy techs on weekdays and 1 on weekends

Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient rehab PT experience required; active experience within the last 6 months required

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

PT license required if applicable

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Experience with inpatient rehab settings and the Care Tool is preferred

The hospital is an HCA Healthcare facility recognized for its burn center, Human Motion Institute, and emergency services

Augusta, GA offers a vibrant downtown, the Augusta Riverwalk, and is home to The Masters golf tournament

Black scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required
