Florida Acupuncture and Counseling, Inc. is seeking experienced and friendly Massage Therapists to represent the practice and provide manual therapy services to our patients. This is considered a part-time position with the flexibility to add additional hours.
We are currently seeking candidates with availability during the following hours:
- 8:00 AM
- 9:00 AM
- 4:00 PM
- 5:00 PM
- Saturdays
You must be a mature, compassionate professional with excellent communication skills. Massage tables, sheets, and lotions are provided, and linens are washed in-house.

Job Description
- Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and desired treatment outcomes.
- Evaluate clients to identify painful, tense, or restricted areas of the body.
- Perform therapeutic massage using various modalities including:
- Tui-Na massage techniques
- Medical massage
- Trigger point therapy
- Deep tissue massage
- Swedish massage
- Sports massage
- Cupping therapy
- Other clinically appropriate modalities
- Provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, relaxation techniques, posture, and wellness strategies.
- Document client conditions, treatment plans, and progress using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Establish and maintain positive, professional, and trusting rapport with clients.
- Meet with clients regularly to provide ongoing massage therapy treatment and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Refer clients to outside specialists or agencies when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential client records and observations.
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide clients with information regarding community resources and therapeutic activities.
- Follow all office safety, sanitation, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
- Contribute to the practice by assisting with related duties as needed.
- Serve as designated Establishment Manager in accordance with Florida regulations.
Job Requirements
- Current and active Massage Therapy License in the State of Florida.
- Current professional liability insurance policy with minimum coverage of $1M/$3M.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
