We are looking for a reliable Floater - EVS Custodian to support cleaning operations at medical facilities in Brighton and Ann Arbor. This role ensures a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, traveling between locations as needed for coverage and special projects. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, self-motivated, and able to maintain high cleanliness and infection prevention standards.
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour/ paid weekly

Monday-Saturday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Monday-Saturday | 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors according to facility standards.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to support infection control protocols.
- Remove trash, biohazard waste, and recyclable materials following established procedures.
- Replenish restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
- Clean glass surfaces, doors, windows, and entryways.
- Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning tools safely and effectively.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests, spills, and environmental service needs.
- Provide coverage at multiple healthcare facilities based on operational needs.
- Assist with terminal cleaning, deep cleaning projects, and special assignments as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, EVS, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel between Brighton and Ann Arbor locations.

- Ability to travel between assigned medical facilities in Brighton and Ann Arbor.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings and pre-employment requirements.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10-50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull custodial carts and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
