Are you looking to break into the aerospace industry with a stable, well-established manufacturer? We are seeking a 2nd Shift Surface Finishing Specialist to join our team in El Cajon. If you have a strong background in chemistry, wet processes, or precision manufacturing but lack specific plating experience, we want to hear from you. We provide the environment and the training for you to master high-end aerospace finishing.
2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday to Friday + overtime
Responsibilities and Description:
- Monitor chemical baths, solution concentrations, and equipment performance.
- Clean, mask, and prepare precision components for plating.
- Use microscopes, calipers, and precision gauges to inspect parts against GD&T prints.
- Work alongside our production team to meet stringent aerospace and military specifications.
- Maintain precise manufacturing travelers and quality logs.
- Maintain a clean lab environment and strictly adhere to all PPE and HAZMAT protocols.
We are looking for:
- 2+ years in manufacturing, chemical processing, or precision inspection
- Experience in wet processes, electroplating, passivation, or anodizing is a huge plus.
- Attention to detail; comfortable handling small, complex components.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- A drive to learn high-precision manufacturing processes.
