Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) (Full Time, Part-Time and PRN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at Florence Hand Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in LaGrange, Georgia. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a PT to provide comprehensive treatment to patients, assisting with patient referrals, documentation, and other administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT, according to state practice guidelines
Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly
Document patient's daily participation and progress on progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the PT
Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges
Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy
Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
